The Fire Kit is a combination of three LEDs:  a flashing red, a flashing orange, and a solid orange. The secret to the fire effect is the different flash rates giving a random effect.  You get a ready-to-use pack of 3 LED with an on/off switch.  3 volt.  Two sizes available: Pico and Nano.

It’s not bad

Its ok. One red light is quite bright and flickers fast. The flashing amber is quite muted next to the red and the steady amber is kind of overpowered by both. I had to ink down the red and bury it to give balance.

It's going to be perfect for my little fireplace. I have tried it out, but now need to put it together with the tiny logs.
