I am delighted to be able to offer a workshop/tutorial on the basics of using an airbrush! I have played with an airbrush a couple of times but don't really know what I am doing. However, Fred Jones does know what he is doing and has agreed to offer us some lessons.
We'll be offering two choices for a one-hour session on Saturday, November 23rd. Sign up for one or the other, they will have the same content. The choices are 11:00am and 1:00pm. The fee is $10.00 plus tax.
Fred will discuss:
- basic how-to information on using an airbrush
- which paints are appropriate
- which paints/products need to be thinned, and how
- what is the difference between airbrush thinner and airbrush flow improver and how/when to use each
- proper cleaning of your airbrush
- how to vary from a thin line to a wider spread of paint on an object
- what you need to know about compressors
- what you should look for in a starter airbrush and compressor
Each session/class has 5 spaces and there will be time for Q & A.
Dates/times available:
#1 November 23 - 11:00am to 12:00pm
