This workshop will take place at Freedom Miniatures, 45 Webster Street, Kentville  NS.

I have been intrigued by the idea of making miniature pottery on a wheel for quite a while. Earlier this year, I had a chance to give it a try for a couple of hours in a workshop, and I fell in love! What held me back from trying before then was the fear that if I spent the money on a wheel, and tools, and clay and then hated making pottery, it would be a big waste of money.

I think there are a lot of people who feel the same.

So, I'm offering a sampler class in making mini pottery on a wheel using air dry clay. There will be no requirements to purchase anything for the class. Bring yourself and your curiosity!

PLEASE NOTE: I am not a trained and skilled potter. But I am excited to share the bit that I know, which is enough for you to sample the craft and decide if you would like to explore it further. Think of it as a tester...

I will have clay and tools available for sale after each class, plus a limited number of wheels.

Each session/class has 3 spaces and will give you 2 hours of time to play.

Dates/times available:

#1   September 19 - 6:30pm to 8:30pm

#2  October 4 - 6:30pm to 8:30pm

#3   October 16 - 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Cost: $22.00 plus tax

Mini pottery workshop

Enjoyed the session but would have liked another half an hour of time, for a total time of 21/2 hours. Might be fun to have a monthly mini pottery club open to 4 or 5 people, so as to learn more techniques???
